Scott Zeitlin, MD, is one of the top urologic surgeons in the Los Angeles area. His practice, Los Angeles Infertility and Prostatitis, has locations in Century City, Santa Monica, and Tarzana, California.

Dr. Zeitlin is an internationally recognized specialist in fertility, microsurgery, prostate health, and erectile dysfunction. For nearly 30 years, he’s been helping men overcome fertility challenges. His skill in diagnosing and treating male infertility has helped countless couples achieve their goal of parenthood.

Dr. Zeitlin completed CUNY Brooklyn College’s prestigious coordinated 7 year BA-MD program. He earned his Medical Doctorate at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

He also completed his junior residency in surgery and urology residency at SUNY Downstate.

During his Urology residency, Dr. Zeitlin studied urologic oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. After completing his residency he was a fellow in male infertility, microsurgery and erectile dysfunction in the UCLA Department of Urology. Since 1998, he’s taught at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and has gone from a clinical  instructor to Clinical Professor of Urology. He was a member of the faculty executive committee of the David Geffen School of Medicine from 2012 to 2014.

Dr. Zeitlin’s colleagues have selected him to Super Doctors for 18 years in a row and is part of their Legacy Member Hall of Fame. Los Angeles Magazine named him a “Top Doctor” in 2019. He currently belongs to the American Urologic Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, and was previously on the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society’s board of directors. In 2020, Dr. Zeitlin was awarded the UCLA Urology Voluntary Clinical Faculty of the Year for the 3rd time by the UCLA Urology residents. 

He received a Master Teacher in Urology Award from the SUNY-Downstate Alumni Association. In addition to teaching, he performed NIH-funded research at UCLA for over a decade as part of the Chronic Prostatitis Collaborative Research Network.

He has published in the journal Steroids, Urology, Journal of Urology, Journal of Surgical Oncology, Prostate Cancer and Prostate Diseases, British Journal of Urology, Annals of Internal Medicine, Contemporary Urology, Reviews in Urology, Patient Care, Expert Reviews in Neurotherapeutics, Archives of Internal Medicine, Case Reports in Urology, Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Cerebellum, Fertility and Sterility and the New England Journal of Medicine.

Though Dr. Zeitlin is grateful for the recognition he’s received as a clinician, professor, and researcher, his greatest reward is helping patients start families and overcome urological conditions.
