Modern OBGYN Care is a premier obstetrics and gynecology practice led by Miguel Torres, MD, and Marcela Torres, MD, in Miramar, Florida. They offer comprehensive women’s health care for patients ages 12 and older, from precious moments during pregnancy and delivery through post-menopause and beyond.
Women experiencing abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, or endometriosis can turn to the South Florida office for an accurate diagnosis and ultimate relief. The providers at Modern OBGYN Care personalize women’s health treatments using the latest advances in technology and minimally invasive approaches. The team treats patients like family, offering them an exceptional experience with highly trained physicians.
The practice’s OB/GYN specialists are highly trained in robotic surgery, which allows patients undergoing hysterectomy to recover faster with less intraoperative blood loss, smaller incisions, and less postoperative pain. They are also pioneers in a new FDA-approved radiofrequency ablation therapy, which treats fibroids laparoscopically using ultrasound guidance.
The team provides a variety of birth control methods, including intrauterine devices and subdermal implants, as well as in-office gynecologic procedures.

Overall a great experience from the front desk people to the medical assistant to the physician. I have not had great experiences with OBGYN practices in the past and I was apprehensive about this one. The office is amazing! Super clean and organized. Dr. Marcela Torres took time to explain things to me and she made eye contact and actually seems excited about her profession and seeing patients, which was very refreshing.
