Nicholson Psychiatry, PLLC, offers compassionate psychiatric services to children, teens, and adults living in and around Bellevue, Washington. Founder and provider Jeanne Nicholson, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, has a well-earned reputation for her empathy and for working with patients as a team to help them achieve optimal mental health and wellness.

At Nicholson Psychiatry, PLLC, patients are valued, and their voices are heard. The only way to create a personalized treatment strategy is by understanding every aspect of a patient’s life that contributes to their mental health.

To that end, Jeanne spends time listening, asking questions, and learning about their challenges. Then, she completes a thorough psychiatric evaluation, runs lab tests if needed, and has patients finish an easy, online cognitive evaluation.

At Nicholson Psychiatry, PLLC, Jeanne takes the time necessary to complete psychiatric evaluations, potentially needing several sessions. But she always focuses on the patient’s needs first, performing a quick assessment right away to determine if they have symptoms needing immediate treatment with medication.

Jeanne frequently helps patients struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but she has extensive experience diagnosing and treating the full scope of mental health conditions. She also helps people who struggle with sleep disorders.  Jeanne is a certified ADHD Clinical Service Provider. 

As a specialist in medication management, Jeanne focuses on improving each person’s symptoms with the most appropriate medication. She also recommends therapy and collaborates with a patient’s other health care providers to ensure uninterrupted care with everyone working toward the same goals.
