Adnan Aslam, MD, FACC, FSCAI, and Roy Norman, DO, lead the highly trained staff and have access to the latest diagnostic tools.
The cardiologists at Northwest Houston Heart Center evaluate symptoms such as chest pain, leg pain, shortness of breath, syncope (fainting), and other indicators of cardiovascular disorders using advanced technologies, including electrocardiography (EKG), nuclear stress testing, and cardiac PET (positron emission tomography).
Cardiac PET scans are fast becoming the gold standard in reliable noninvasive cardiac diagnosis; Northwest Houston Heart Center is one of few practices in the Houston area with its own state-of-the-art cardiac PET scanner. Its cardiac PET laboratory is certified by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL) for the timely and precise diagnosis of heart disease. The practice’s echocardiography lab also has certification from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL).

Dr. Norman is very patient & very thorough! He answered all of my questions. He made sure I understood the diagnosis & what that meant for me. He made sure I understood the treatment plans. Dr. Norman made sure that I was scheduled for required tests ASAP so that I wouldn't have to reschedule my cataract surgeries for the 3rd time. During my appointments, I never felt rushed. Dr. Norman is AWESOME! He's in the top 2 doctors I've ever had!

The receptionist was friendly and very clear about the forms that need to be filled out. When we got into the room Isaac Tran was very thorough and professional. He was pleasant and gave the impression he cared about my situation. When the doctor came in he greeted me and my wife with a smile. His assistant Mindy was also had a nice disposition.
Dr. Norman listens and takes time to understand his patients’ concerns. He offers suggestions and alternatives. He never makes me feel rushed and I leave feeling much better.

I had the best experience at this office. it was easy to set appt, only one week wait. The staff is well trained and Dr. Norman was so knowledgeable, but shared great info, and explained every step of my care. Whoever is the office manager, well done!!!
