At Phoenician Pain & Rehabilitation Center in Chandler, Arizona, Shimul Sahai, MD, and her staff use a wide-ranging approach to helping people resolve acute and chronic pain. The small, physician-owned practice treats each man and woman with compassion and absolute respect.
The practitioners listen to each person who comes through the doors with the intent of creating a customized treatment plan. Patients visit the office to have their hip, back, knee, sciatica, arthritis, and other undifferentiated pain assessed and treated.
Assessment includes a focused joint and functional examination that looks at gait, balance, and endurance as well as disability associated with a patient’s pain. Dr. Sahai and team seek to treat pain by reducing the severity (or eliminating it altogether), improving mood, and enhancing physical function.

Always there for me
I cant say enough good things about Dr. Shimul Sahai and Jessica Kappes and all of the staff at Phoenician Pain Management in Chandler! From the nicest receptionists to the friendly nurses, to the back office staff and the sweetest little lady that takes my labs i am so happy i was referred here! Jessica Kappes is very knowledgeable and takes her time to actually listen and explain whats going on and what the options are, she's so great! Dr. Sahai is serious yet warm and friendly. She has performed 2 procedures on me so far and explained everything in a way i could understand so well that i just scheduled another procedure because they actually make a difference and help so much with pain and mobility when nothing else has worked! If your looking for a place that treats you and your pain with care and concern then Phoenician Pain Management is where you need to go!!
Apps. are on time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Suhai and Dr. Jessica are both extremely knowledgeable. They always listen, are truly interested in our contributions and they both return phone calls promptly. I have always been satisfied with my interactions with them and their office personnel.

I been getting pain injections from Dr Sahai since 2015 for low back epidural and neck radio frequency oblation and never had any discomfort while doing so . I’m living a better quality of life with her treatments .

Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Sahai listened to me, and she made me feel comfortable and hopeful that my uncontrolled pain could finally be controlled when she laid out a game plan for treatment.
