She asked me in the beginning how I felt about having her for a counselor, I told her I didn't like it, she said that's fair. Then I told her the reason why is because I'm going to miss Ashley, it has nothing to do with you and that I would get used to her. I felt very comfortable talking to her, in fact I took her through my entire childhood!

She truly meets me where I am and makes treatment feel tailored to my goals and needs. SUD treatment can sometimes feel like checking boxes and completing required treatment plans, but never with her. She makes sure our sessions address what I actually want and need to work on, while providing wonderful perspective and insight. I always feel heard, supported, and like I have a voice in my treatment. She is truly a gem in the SUD treatment field!
