About RestWell

RestWell is a virtual sleep-medicine practice serving Wake Forest, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and surrounding North Carolina communities. Led by multi-licensed, triple board-certified sleep medicine specialist Jamila Battle, MD, RestWell focuses on helping patients achieve healthy, restorative sleep using comprehensive, medically guided evaluations and in-home sleep testing.

RestWell provides in-home sleep studies nationwide and collaborates closely with local providers to ensure continuity of care. If you live outside the Triangle area, a primary care provider is required so we can coordinate your testing results and treatment recommendations with your local care team.

Our practice also partners with trusted local resources—including Developmental Dentistry for patients interested in holistic airway and sleep-health options—and can assist with connections to DME suppliers for CPAP therapy or sleep-trained dentists for oral appliance therapy. (RestWell does not prescribe controlled medications.)

Although RestWell operates as an out-of-network practice, many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement. We provide all the necessary documentation and codes to help you submit for reimbursement, and we emphasize transparency so you understand every step of your care.

⭐ Important Update About New Patients

Dr. Battle is currently accepting new patients through DreemHealth, a telehealth sleep clinic that is in-network with most major insurance plans and offers convenient virtual visits.

RestWell is not onboarding new patients at this time, but existing patients will continue to receive support and coordination of care.

⭐ What If You Already Have a Sleep Study?

If you already have a sleep study completed through another clinic, DOT examiner, or another program, the best place to begin is with your primary care provider (PCP).
Your PCP can review your results in the context of your full medical history and help coordinate next steps such as treatment, CPAP setup, or specialty referrals.

This ensures continuity of care, minimizes delays in treatment, and keeps all aspects of your health connected through your medical home.
