South Coast Ear, Nose and Throat offers comprehensive care in a comforting atmosphere that gives patients the feel of concierge care without being a concierge office. When patients come to one of the offices in Ladera Ranch and Irvine, California, they receive their care from Avrum Kaufman, DO, not a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner.

Following the lead of Dr. Kaufman, the staff treat each other and their patients like they’re family, creating a light-hearted atmosphere that makes each person feel welcome and at ease. Whether patients struggle with chronic sinusitis or their child needs a tonsillectomy, everyone gets personal and customized treatment for all types of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions.

Dr. Kaufman offers innovative treatments, such as balloon sinuplasty for chronic sinusitis. As an expert in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, he also treats complex problems like skin cancer and performs surgery to remove a neck mass or treat a thyroid nodule. 

When Dr. Kaufman isn’t in the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors, going trail running and skiing, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
