South Coast Family Medical Center, Inc. is a trusted primary care walk-in clinic serving Laguna Niguel and the surrounding Orange County communities. Founded in 1990 by Dr. Michael Kent, our clinic has remained family-owned and family-operated for nearly 35 years, providing accessible, compassionate, and high-quality medical care with a deep commitment to our community. Today, the practice is owned and led by Dr. Kent’s daughter, Dr. Lauren Kent Davis, and her husband, Dr. Chris Davis, who—along with their experienced and dedicated team—continue to uphold the clinic’s long-standing values of personalized care, continuity, and community connection.

Dr. Lauren Kent Davis and Dr. Chris Davis are fortunate to work alongside two experienced and dedicated physician assistants, Meredith Harsh and Karen Pollick, whose expertise enhances the high-quality care provided at our clinic.

We are open seven days a week, offering extended hours on both weekdays and weekends. Most services do not require an appointment, allowing patients to walk in for evaluation and treatment of chronic and acute conditions, minor procedures, and on-site X-ray services. This flexible model supports continuity of care without long waits for scheduled appointments.

We continue to offer several services by appointment, including well-woman exams with Pap smears, preoperative evaluations, and INS immigration physicals.

To further improve access, all preventive-care physicals are now available on a walk-in basis only. These visits are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Because walk-in physicals are integrated into the regular clinical schedule, provider selection is not available for these visits.

Please note that while we make every effort to see all patients who arrive for care, there are occasional days when we reach our maximum patient capacity due to high demand. On these rare days, we may not be able to accommodate additional walk-ins or sign-ins, even during normal business hours. We appreciate your understanding.
