We are a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about our work and committed to achieving success. Our diverse backgrounds and skills allow us to collaborate effectively and provide innovative solutions for our patients. Our ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for those we serve by delivering exceptional care and personalized treatment plans. We aspire to positively impact mental health through a shared vision and great cooperation.

 

Suburban Behavioral Health Services, located in the picturesque towns of Oakbrook Terrace and Wheaton, Illinois, offers comprehensive psychiatric care to patients of any age. Our team is led by board-certified psychiatrist Mazhar Golewale, MD, who is excited to provide specialized care in a welcoming, courteous, and compassionate environment.

 

Our team of mental health specialists strives to improve our patients' quality of life and promote a stronger community. We treat patients holistically and educate them about their conditions. Our team routinely participates in continuing education and hands-on courses. We also routinely consult with clients' families about their collateral histories and interact with other therapists. Our mission is to offer comprehensive care that covers the physical, emotional, and social components of mental health. We strive to build tailored treatment regimens that promote long-term well-being by collaborating closely with our patients and their loved ones. Our dedication to continuous learning and collaboration keeps us at the forefront of advances in behavioral health care.

 

As a private practice, Suburban Behavioral Health Services offers the benefit of having a psychiatrist and therapist work together under one roof to coordinate our patients' care, closely monitor them, and make appropriate changes to treatment protocols as needed. With the tagline "thinking beyond," the team does more than just prescribe medication; they think outside the box, limiting the use of controlled substances and offering alternative treatments.

 

Suburban Behavioral Health Services provides new treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), IV ketamine infusion, and SPRAVATO® (esketamine) intranasal therapy, for anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders. We also include individual, family, relationship, and group counseling, as well as medication management.
