Symphony Medical

Practice statement

Symphony Medical is a multi-specialty group that works much like a symphony orchestra. The board-certified physicians and medical staff all work together to optimize patient health and provide a beautiful health care experience. 

 

With two offices in Yonkers and one in Dobbs Ferry, New York, the providers deliver comprehensive, individualized medical services to the community and address a variety of issues that affect health and wellness.

 

The providers have extensive experience in acute surgery care, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology services, and psychiatry. They offer consults, education support, and emergency medical services to address acute illness, chronic disease, and stroke symptoms.

 

Symphony Medical also specializes in acute surgery care, general surgery, and treatments for fractures. The skilled surgeons offer minimally invasive solutions for orthopedic trauma, and sports medicine for injuries, including knee replacement surgery. Approaches include robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery on an inpatient and outpatient basis.

 

The providers also specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neck injuries and use advanced therapies, including injections.

 

Behavioral Health services are available to help patients overcome dependence on drugs and alcohol. The providers offer in-office counseling services, inpatient detox, and psychiatric services in-office. 

 

Psych telemedicine services are also available through an online platform, so patients can meet with their counselors from anywhere.

 

Specialized women’s services, including pregnancy care, postmenopausal care, and the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), are available on-site.

I am a nurse, so I am able to recognize great bedside manner, compassion and caring. I have not had surgery by him, but my colleagues have him in high regards and have not heard 1 negative comment about him. Also his book is full of insight as to how to stay healthy and is written as a friend talking to you and not with medical words to confuse the layman. Have an ortho issue, see Dr. Luks. His staff also deserve praises, they are friendly, and your don't wait hours to be seen by the doctor.

Dr. Luks reviewed my knee X-rays with me via wall mounted, HD screens (32-36") and thoroughly explained to me what I was seeing in everyday terminology. Dr. Luks takes the time to explain what's appropriate/needed to stay healthy (daily exercise, movement and not being sedentary) from a whole body perspective to live a long, healthy and active life. Dr. Luks' staff is very helpful, courteous, professional and personable.

Dr Luks has been taking care of my Orthopedic problems for many years.
