About Tate Kirk, MD
Welcome to the practice of Tate Kirk, MD, a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist in White Plains, New York. He’s also an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Kirk offers outpatient, ambulatory care in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility, providing a premier environment and a white-glove feel.
Dr. Kirk performs image-guided, minimally invasive procedures using cutting-edge technology and techniques. He specializes in liver-directed cancer treatments, including Y-90 radioembolization and percutaneous ablation.
He also offers an array of procedures for non-cancer patients, including prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, genicular artery embolization, hemorrhoid embolization, and varicocele embolization.
Dr. Kirk’s revolutionary procedures can treat uterine fibroids, hemorrhoids, an enlarged prostate, and pelvic congestion syndrome. He also cares for patients struggling with vascular malformation, knee arthritis, and uveal melanomas.
Dr. Kirk has been featured in The Daily Mail and has authored publications in national and international medical journals, including Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and Radiographics.
He presents at national conferences and received the 2025 Cure Ocular Melanoma Vision of Hope award from the Melanoma Research Foundation for his extensive work in immunoembolization and oncolytic virus administration with uveal melanoma patients.
