About Tusc Family Dental

Tusc Family Dental is a full-service dental practice serving patients in Gnadenhutten, Ohio, and the surrounding area. They offer a wide range of services, from crowns and dentures to treatment options for patients affected by TMJ.

The practice began in 1974 under the name Berg & Birong, DDS and was originally located in Carrollton, Ohio. Founded by Jim Birong and Kent Berg, two dentists who were classmates at The Ohio State School of Dentistry, their partnership has lasted more than 40 years and endures today in a second generation.

Both doctors have children who decided to become dentists and Dr. Tom Birong provides services to patients at an affiliated practice: Carrollton Family Dental. Tusc Family Dental is also affiliated with Summit Dental Group, a practice in Akron, Ohio.

All of the dentists at Tusc Family Dental are dedicated to providing patients with excellent care at every visit. They approach patients as though they’re part of an extended family, and they work hard to improve each patient’s oral health.
