Avi is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), graduating from University of Maryland School of Social Work. With a decade of experience working in camps and youth groups, Avi has an expertise in helping youth and adolescents to establish and reach their goals, with a strong passion for helping individuals to work on self-identity and self-esteem. Using a therapeutic approach surrounding theories of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Person-centered Therapy, Avi creates a space for personal-growth and discovery. He has a friendly and warm demeanor, meeting each individual at their own level, utilizing compassion and understanding in all areas. With experience ranging from working with elementary aged children to adults, Avi sees clients for who they are and understands every individual's unique strengths and needs, fostering a space of expression and motivation to reach your goals.
