I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cottrill and his office staff. My husband I drive one and a half hours to see him instead of seeing a closer dentist. The staff is friendly and efficient. Hygienists are very professionaShow morel. Dr. Cottrill himself is truly devoted to patient care. On two different occasions, I have asked him about having costly procedures done. In both cases, he advised against them, as not advantageous for me. Most dentists would have jumped on the opportunity to do these lucrative procedures. He's the best!
Everyone was pleasant in the office. Dr Cottrill injected anesthesia on my gums for procedure for my molar. I felt a tiny pinch but not much pain at all. He was fast & gentle at the same time. I was numb when I left his officeShow more but it wore out in no time. No discomfort the whole night. Ate as usual. Dr Cottrill is very efficient in what he does. I would recommend him to my family and friends
Dr. Cottrill, an Ohio native, was one of a few select students to graduate from a premier six-year dental program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After being one of the youngest in the country to finish dental school, he followed the footsteps of many generations in his family and joined the U.S. Army, where he served on active duty for four years at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. During his time in the military, Dr. Cottrill received additional training with complex restorations, root canals, oral surgery, implants, crowns, bridges, and sedation dentistry. While planning to pursue a prosthodontics residency in the military, he learned his wife was accepted to graduate school in Houston, Tx. Dr. Cottrill then proceeded to a private practice in Houston with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry while his wife was advancing her education.
When Dr. Cottrill was given the opportunity to join world renowned prosthodontist and dental implant pioneer Dr. Ronald LuBovich, he relocated to Nashville, where he was trained in advanced prosthodontics, dental lab techniques, and complex implant surgery. Dr. Cottrill considers it a great honor to continue to operate our private in-office dental lab, one of the very first in Tennessee. It's in the dental lab that Dr. Cottrill works alongside our master technicians to create beautiful dental restorations. Having completed thousands of same-day CEREC (CAD/CAM) cases and trained many dentists to use CEREC, Dr. Cottrill applies his CAD/CAM expertise in the dental lab as well. Not only does Dr. Cottrill often personally design the most complicated and cosmetic cases, but he does quality control on everything produced in the lab. Dr. Cottrill is one of very few proficient in both analog and digital dental laboratory techniques.
Although he considers dentistry a great joy, outside the office Dr. Cottrill plays the piano, paints, and is an avid gardener. He enjoys spending time with his family and getting outdoors whenever possible.

Everyone are so pleasant, helpful and kind. I've actually had a friend ask about my implant because she has had much larger charges for her own implant.
My initial visit to the office was the best, most friendly experience. Dr. Cottrill was professional, thorough in his examination, and a very friendly and positive demeanor. The cleaning was the best I have ever had. My teeth feel great! I am so glad that I made the decision to make Dr. Cottrill my dentist. I feel that my dental needs are being addressed and I am well taken care of by the entire staff.

The team started on my emergency implant with care and were cheerful. Not an experience I wish to go thru again, but Dr. C made sure I was as comfortable as possible.

Yes, I would recommend anyone to Dr Cottrill and his team. Mary did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and was diligent trying to remove the stains that bothered me. She went above and beyond with her efforts in making me happy with the results.
This was my first time here and I had the best experience. They were very welcoming and professional. This practice really cares about you as an individual. The Dr. created a great plan of action and I am definitely going to continue to come here!
Dr. Cottrill and his staff are very professional and friendly. They answered all my questions and I was in and out of the office in about an hour and 15 minutes. It did cost more than I thought it would, but I know dental work is very expensive. I hope my bridge stays in place longer this time, but I will certainly go back to his office if I need further treatment.
I’m giving MARY the new dental hygienist a 5tar rating on her performance of cleaning my teeth . Very professional and informative and let me know what was going on in my mouth as she was performing her duty cleaning my teeth definitely would recommend her to anyone that needed a thorough cleaning. And by the way, since my insurance pays for for cleanings a year, I have only been rescheduled for one for every six months, and I would like to be cleaned every three months since my insurance has to pay for it.
