Dr.Hart and his entire team are amazing!!! Eye procedures can be a scaring thing but he has made more whole experience wonderful. From exam to prep to surgery and now annual follow exam a year later. I would not trust any other tShow moreeam than Dr.Harts team. The young ladies at the front desk to the assistants in the back are are very professional and great at what they do.
I had 4 eye surgeries this year. In all of them Dr Hart did an excellent job. He is experienced and is able to do cataract surgeries and also rare surgeries like superficial keratoctomies. Dr. Hart relocated to Texas from Chicago in 2017 with his sights set on opening his own practice. While in Chicago, he fine-tuned his skills in state-of-the-art laser technologies, including LASIK and PRK. He opened Longhorn Eye Care in February of 2018.
A Ford Dean’s scholar at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, Dr. Hart studied biomedical engineering and later spent a year of research in proteomics, the study of proteins in organisms, at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to earn his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and discovered his passion for optics during his ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York.
When not tending to his patients, Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, his two boys Colton and Everett, and his dog, Jax. In his free time, he hikes, travels, and loves to read. Dr. Hart also volunteers with Eye Care America, helping people in need.

Dr. Hart was very professional and listened to my concerns. He opened up a whole new world to me by getting rid of my cataracts.

I really like the way the staff treats the patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Hart since I moved to Texas and he has always treated me with respect. He always explains what I need and the results of any tests. Great Doctor and great office!

Dr. Hart did agree a local anessthesia, which was great and painless. I had drunk coffe so I did not get general anesthesia. My only worry is that I still my glasses.
