I had slacked off on yearly eye exams. Lately, I experienced a wrinkle on white part of eye. So instead of going to a regular Optometrist...I decided go with Dr. Adam Hart, M.D. who is a Board-certified ophthalmologist in PflugShow moreerville. It was a wise choice indeed.He provided me with valuable information and expert advice on how to take care of my eyes before they get worse from working outside in strong UV light conditions. That....and keep up with yearly exams is a plus for everybody. Therefore, I highly recommend....5 stars. Already booked appointment for next year...lol Thanx Dr. Hart and staff !! For example, front office told me my insurance paidShow more more than expected and could she credit overpayment to my card on file. When was the last time your doctor gave you a refund? Dr. Hart relocated to Texas from Chicago in 2017 with his sights set on opening his own practice. While in Chicago, he fine-tuned his skills in state-of-the-art laser technologies, including LASIK and PRK. He opened Longhorn Eye Care in February of 2018.
A Ford Dean’s scholar at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, Dr. Hart studied biomedical engineering and later spent a year of research in proteomics, the study of proteins in organisms, at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to earn his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and discovered his passion for optics during his ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York.
When not tending to his patients, Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, his two boys Colton and Everett, and his dog, Jax. In his free time, he hikes, travels, and loves to read. Dr. Hart also volunteers with Eye Care America, helping people in need.

Very professional
Dr. Hart is great. He explains exactly what he sees and does a good job of explaining the treatment plan he recommends.
I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to my eyes. Dr. Hart takes time with me to explain what he is going to do. He also makes sure i understand the status of my previous eye exam compared to the current exam. The time he takes with me brings down my anxiety. I have recommended him to several of my friends.
