My primary care physician identified a small hard growth on the ball of my foot as most likely a plantars wart that could be removed by scraping or cutting resulting in a few weeks of recovery time. I decided to see a specialisShow moret and delayed treatment until January when lack of mobility would not be so interfering. Dr. Adam Wood painlessly removed what was actually a seed callous without local anesthesia. The next day I was able to walk four miles on a track by slowing my normal pace and being careful how I put pressure on my foot.
I really appreciate Dr. Wood and the way he can talk to me and help me relax as the procedure is done. He is very good at taking my mind off of the procedure and trying to relate to my interests and have a pleasant conversation. HShow moree put my nerves at ease and I really didn't feel as much pain as I anticipated. Thank you Dr. Wood!

Dr. Wood is always so pleasant to be around. He is interested in my husband & I as individuals and genuinely cares about us. He has a great sense of humor and will take the time to carry on an interesting & unrushed conversation with a couple of “old geezers” like us!
