Dr. Emrani was my primary doctor before I moved out of state three years ago. I went to another primary doctor for the past two years who paled in comparison to Dr. Emrani. So I made the decision to fly in for my physicals with hiShow morem. My previous primary doctor in Los Angeles was Dr. Atif Al-Aziz who was literally God's gift of doctors. When he sadly got Parkinson's and retired, he had a referral list of doctors for his patients and Dr. Emrani was on that list. The mere fact that Dr. Emrani was on that list spoke volumes because I knew that Dr. Al-Aziz would only refer doctors who were like him. So both my husband and I started seeing Dr. Emrani and he was the younger version of Dr. Al-Aziz. He is thorough, caring, knowledgeable and takes his time. I love that he is also a cardiologist so you get both heart care and general primary care. It reduces the need to see a separate cardiologist. His staff is also really great....very attentive, efficient and friendly. When you call his office, you always get a live person and are rarely put on hold. I went for my blood test this morning ahead of my physical tomorrow and the person who drew my blood remembered me from almost 3 years ago and even asked about my husband. Please tell me any staff member who would remember a patient from three years prior and know personal details of their life to ask about work, kids, etc. Dr. Emrani and his staff treat you like family and I am wiling to fly in from out of state to see him. I also really enjoy his social media posts, awesome emails he sends out regarding various health issues, as well as his substack articles. The man is a genius. I don't know where he gets his energy to do everything that he does. Dr. Emrani is a dying breed of doctors and I am fortunate to have had him as my doctor all these years and even happier to return to him even though I live out of state.
Dr Emrani’s practice is unique in many ways. EVERYONE greets you with a smile and concern about YOU. My husband Tim and I feel at 77 that we were very very lucky, at this point in our lives, to have had a friend refer us to Dr EmShow morerani. Thanks Ellen! He really listens and is willing to TAKE WHATEVER TIME IS NECESSARY to discuss what is bothering us. So that when we leave his office, we both feel our questions have been answered and that we are much more secure in our own health! His staff are smart, caring and are truly a gift in our lives along with the Doctor. We feel better about ourselves and whatever is going on physically when we leave the COMFORT of Dr Emrani’s method of care. Dr. Afshine Emrani is a cardiologist who serves the residents of Tarzana, California, in addition to the greater Los Angeles area. While working at the Kaiser Permanente campus of the University of Southern California, Dr. Emrani earned a fellowship in the field of Cardiology.
With more than twenty years of experience, Dr. Emrani is a leader in his field. His knowledge of cutting-edge technology and the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment allows him the privilege of offering his patients the best cardiac care possible. He continues his education on a regular basis by attending classes and seminars that allow him to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of cardiology and infectious diseases.
