About Dr. Fahid

Dr. Ahmad Fahid is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he received his Master's Degree and Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics in 1975. He also received a Certificate of Endodontics from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

Following graduation, Dr. Fahid has taught at the University of Florida and in 1981, he joined the UCLA Department of Endodontics, where he also served as an Acting Chairman of the Department of Endodontics.

Dr. Fahid served as a Consultant to the Sonendo Company for the development of the GentleWave System and he and his office were involved in the development of this revolutionary treatment approach, since its inception in 2009 until it received FDA approval.

He is a current member of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. He was widely published in Endodontics and Dental Journals, and has contributed to the Endodontics Book 3rd Edition by John Ingle, DDS, MSD.
