Dr. Ahmed Ahad, MD

Dr. Ahmed Ahad, MD, provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults (18+) in Oakland Park and throughout Florida via telehealth. He treats depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), adjustment disorders, grief, and other mental health concerns using a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Dr. Ahad earned his medical degree from the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine after graduating with distinction from Duke University. He has a special interest in adult psychiatry and autism spectrum disorders and believes meaningful care begins with listening, trust, and personalized treatment that supports lasting emotional wellness.
