It was my first visit with Dr. Polesin. I have been to three other pain management doctors over the many years that I have had different back issues. I was very impressed with Dr. Polesin. She was very easy to converse with, weShow morent right to the area of concern, and treated it with a couple of pin prick injections. Also ordered an MRI for more detailed analysis. She had a relaxed, pleasant manner that is beneficial to the patient. Yet seemed very experienced and knowledgeable with my issue, and her field of expertise. I like her very much and would highly recommend her!
It is always a positive experience when I go see Dr. Polesin in the Morristown office. I have appointments every 3-4 months as my condition is chronic. The office staff and assistants are warm, friendly and accommodating . Dr PoleShow moresin is a wonderful physician. She has vast knowledge and I believe she is the best at what she does. She always addresses my concerns with the utmost of patience and compassion. I always know that after my appointment with Dr. Polesin, I will get my much needed relief from my pain. After graduating from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, she completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian – The University Hospital of Columbia & Cornell, serving as a Chief Resident. After extensive post residency training and clinical experiences in musculoskeletal medicine, she became Director of Spine, Sports & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at New Jersey Pain Management -The Spine, Sports and Pain Medicine Center. Dr. Polesin specializes in helping individuals recover from acute and chronic injuries. Dr. Polesin is congenial and explained things well. Unfortunately she said that she couldn’t have me with my severe fibromyalgia pain.
Excellent doctor! After Dr.Polesin gave me a nerve blocking shot my pain was gone the next morning. Thank you, thank you doctor Polesin!
Dr. Polesin is pleasant, very knowledgeable, and very focused on getting to the root cause of why I am having pain. She is very thorough, explaining what she is doing during my test, and what the results will show us. When my test was completed, we had a diagnosis with measurable proof of my problem. I left the office with documentation for my referring MD, and a list of doctors which can address the problem.
Dr Polesin is very understanding and tries to help with the pain. I find her very empathetic and caring. She listens to you and that is very important

Dr. Alena Polesin was able to rectify prior doctors miss diagnosis in one visit. No need to even consider knee replacement now. All prior discomfort is gone and I have mobility again w/o pain I was experiencing. I can’t say enough about Dr. Polesin.

I've known Dr Polesin for approx. twenty years. I find her very patient focused in providing tbe best care and information patients need to understand when dealing with pain and surgical interventions. She takes the time to thoroughly review your reports and is conservative before recommending surgery. She is extremely knowledgeable and precise with her techniques for pain relief. I highly recommend Dr Polesin and am so very grateful for the pain relief. Her staff is excellent also.
