About Alenka Ravnik-List, MS, RD, CDN, CDE

Alenka Ravnik-List brings warmth, wisdom, and decades of experience to her work as a registered dietician-nutritionist, helping our patients use food as a powerful tool to support long-term vitality, hormonal balance, and healthy aging. 

Originally from Argentina, Alenka earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Buenos Aires. Her career has spanned continents and disciplines, from individualized nutrition counseling to large-scale educational programs developed in collaboration with institutions like Mount Sinai Medical Center and AstraZeneca.

Alenka’s expertise lies in precision and functional nutrition, anti-inflammatory eating patterns, glucose and insulin regulation, and identifying and addressing nutritional deficiencies. She plays a key role in supporting patients through hormonal transitions such as perimenopause and menopause and works closely with those using GLP-1 medications to optimize metabolic health in a thoughtful, whole-person way.

For over 15 years, Alenka has collaborated with Dr. Barbieri in a shared mission: to help women feel well now—and thrive for decades to come. Together with the rest of our clinical team, she brings a truly integrative approach to care, rooted in connection, longevity, and the understanding that food is one of our greatest allies in health.

When she's not supporting patients, Alenka enjoys yoga, Zumba, and travel. Her favorite meal? A colorful plate of fresh seafood and vibrant veggies.
