Dr. Alex Birman, MD

Alex Birman, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with nearly 15 years of clinical experience. He leads the team at Aventura OB-GYN Specialists in Aventura, Florida.

Dr. Birman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and his Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Ambergris Caye, Belize.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Birman completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Birman has owned Aventura OB-GYN Specialists since 2017 and strives to create a welcoming environment offering personalized, integrative care. From convenient diagnostic services and birth control to comprehensive pregnancy and menopause services, women of all ages can find the health care they need with Dr. Birman and his team.

Dr. Birman holds hospital privileges at HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie and Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. He is fluent in English and Russian.
