Alexis’s healthcare journey began at Orthopedic Specialists, where she worked as a scribe/medical assistant while completing nursing school, and she continued to assist as needed throughout her time as a practicing nurse. Her long-standing collaboration with the physicians at Orthopedic Specialists has given her a deep understanding of orthopedic care and a strong continuity of practice.
She gained additional experience as a registered nurse on the medical-surgical floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she developed a broad clinical skill set and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She later served as an orthopedic nurse at Mease Countryside Hospital, where she honed her expertise in treating complex orthopedic conditions.
