She saw my xray, then ordered an MRI to get additional information and laid out pShow moreossible scenarios based on what will be learned. Positivity, and information gives us power! None of this was done by original Ortho who had basically dismissed me and said get used to it. With Alexis were starting a path forward.

Alexis Karagianis, FNP, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedics at Orthopedic Specialists in Palm Harbor, Florida. She has nearly a decade of experience working alongside orthopedic physicians in both clinical and hospital settings.
Alexis’s healthcare journey began at Orthopedic Specialists, where she worked as a scribe/medical assistant while completing nursing school, and she continued to assist as needed throughout her time as a practicing nurse. Her long-standing collaboration with the physicians at Orthopedic Specialists has given her a deep understanding of orthopedic care and a strong continuity of practice.
She gained additional experience as a registered nurse on the medical-surgical floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she developed a broad clinical skill set and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She later served as an orthopedic nurse at Mease Countryside Hospital, where she honed her expertise in treating complex orthopedic conditions.
