As a physician myself. I know how important it is to have good bedside manner and to be a good communicator. However, Dr. Jones is an amazing communicator and has an awesome bedside manner. I’ve never had a physician educate to Show morethis level at the bedside and I usually resort to educating myself. She has been a breath of fresh air.

Alexis Senu DNP, APRN is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Connecticut in 2015 and went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Sacred Heart University, where she conducted her doctoral project on improving screening for intimate partner violence in women’s health settings.
Alexis has 10 years of nursing experience spanning neurology, pediatrics, and primary care, with eight years dedicated to labor and delivery nursing. In addition to her clinical expertise, Alexis brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach shaped by her years of supporting women and families through life-changing moments. She is excited to join the community at the Atlanta East location.
Originally from Los Angeles and raised in Connecticut, Alexis relocated to Georgia with her husband two years ago, and they recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. In her free time, she enjoys traveling—having visited 28 countries and islands—and spending time with her husband and friends. Her favorite destinations are Ghana, where her family originates and Greece, where her husband proposed.

I had a great new patient visit with the NP, Faiza. I explained exactly why I was there, and she wasted no time addressing every concern. Dr. E as I often called her has been a God sent throughout my entire pregnancy. She created an atmosphere my husband and I felt empowered to voice our concerns, ask questions, and actively engage in discussions about my health and that of my baby. For this we want to thank you so much from the bottom of hearts for taking such good care of us during/after the pregnancy as well as the delivery!! Because of your professionalism and great smiles, we felt like we were in good hands and that gave us peace of mind towards the big day.
