Such a wonderful experience with this Doctor Ashtiani! He was on time, warm, friendly, and never made us feel rushed. Ali Ashtiani, MD is a fellowship-trained, board-eligible interventional cardiologist at Cardiology Specialists of Orange County (CSOC) practicing in Santa Ana, Irvine, and Newport Beach, California. He has special interests in coronary intervention including coronary angioplasty & stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and valvular/structural heart disease.
Dr. Ashtiani received his medical training in our very own Orange County. After earning his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California, he went on to complete internal medicine internship and residency followed by cardiology fellowship and advanced fellowship training in interventional cardiology at the same institution.
Dr. Ashtiani is affiliated with Hoag Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute in Newport Beach, Hoag Hospital Irvine, & Hoag Orthopedic Institute, St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, and Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana.

Dr. Ashtiani is an excellent doctor. He truly listened to my concerns and made me feel that he genuinely cared about my health. He took the time to go over everything thoroughly, explained everything clearly, and answered my questions without making me feel rushed. What impressed me most was that he also created a plan moving forward to make sure I receive the best treatment possible. I highly recommend him.

1. Not covering parking is more than annoying. 2. The assistant who weighs you in and did the initial EKG was barely understandable. Extremely poor diction and extremely poor reaction to repeated questions about what she wanted me to do. She had zero people skills! 3. When I come to a doctor’s office, I prefer to meet with the doctor…not two others who are clearly there to take notes and observe. And this has happened regularly over the past year or so. 4. Dr. Ashtiani is great. No complaints. But the woman I dealt with today. Far from it. Made the entire appointment miserable. 5. The front office folk were great. But, once past them… miserable. Zero personality, nothing!
Dr Ashtiani is the best cardiologist. He is caring, intelligent and kind, and has the best bedside manner. He also follows up with the patient and he cares for them. I have had the best experience in my life with Dr Ashtiani.
