About Alisha Jain, PMHNP-BC; APRN

Practicing in psychiatry requires a calling; you have to appreciate the intricacy of the human mind that invokes emotions and behavior and realize that we are all different. Our feelings are what separates us from anything else in the world, but also what brings us together. Life can be a challenge, but understanding and sharing our emotions are what allows us to navigate through it. Sometimes people require assistance in getting through life, and this is what I strive to do. I feel privileged to assist my patients with their most intense emotions: whether this is with the assistance of the right medication, finding an underlying diagnosis, or through cognitive restructuring. Achieving emotional balance is my ultimate goal for all patients- but all patients require a different path to get there.
