My son is seeing Alison. He complains of not wanting to go, but each week comes out smiling and telling me that he loved it.
The absolute best!!! Always makes you feel so calm once you have left her office.
Alison is wonderful. She is able to listen and offer some feedback but also keep the floor open for our son to speak when he feels comfortable. I think that while he struggles with aspects of being able to communicate his feelings, she has patience and the ability to let him know that when he is ready, she is there as a person for him to go to.
