I was nervous for my first meeting in a new Dr's setting. Allison Hutchison was friendly and professional. She answered all my questions to my satisfaction. My blood pressure was a little high and was taken by the other persShow moreon when I came into the room. I was co concerned and Allison clearly explained in detail how I should take my blood pressure at home. Then, she took my blood pressure at the end of our discussions and it was in the normal healthy range!! I admire her technique of letting patients talk and feel comfortable...and thus my blood pressure went down! She is amazing at what she does and I feel I definitely have the best person to help me with my medical needs. I am very grateful for her.
Compared with the first time I got care at this facility my experience today was much better. I recall 2 years ago I didn’t like the check in experience. I recall the 2 individuals back then at the check in were not even close to Show morehow friendly the young associate was today. Also the assistant and Allison herself were very friendly and seemed to genuinely care. I felt really taken care of and heard.
Allison Hutcheson was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina and a Master's Degree in Nursing from Clemson University.
Prior to coming to work at Grace, Allison worked in the Emergency Department for over six years. She comes from a large family (which includes two cats). In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking with her husband, and spending time with her church community.
Allison believes in caring for the patient as a whole person—body, mind, and spirit. She values the patient’s input as part of establishing a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan and desires to help improve their health and wellness.

I love Dr. Allison. She’s very patient and caring. She knows her patients by name and she always takes time to listen. She remembers where I work and always gives me positive and encouraging words. I appreciate her taking time to remember the little things. This is a great practice and I highly recommend it.
