Alva is amazing she makes you own your truth and see where you need to genuinely focus on your relationship if you truley want it to thrive. She gives you a toolkit and homework to help you refocus your thinking and remind you of what brought you together in the first place. Utilizing biblical view points and psychological based points to convey the message of true love in a marriage helps to tremendously bring all aspects of a loving and strong relationship together .

as always another great session with Alva she gives me the space to express myself and to heal without being pushy she doesn’t tell you how to feel but helps you better define it before working with her my emotions felt very one dimensional but she’s showed me how the get to the root of that emotion and rename it showing me that there are more signs drs to me than i thought she doesn’t scold and i feel like she’s vested in your mental health and your health in general she’s pleasant and kind

MS. Pope is a Very well versed therapist. She’s comfortable with listening to and discussing various issues . I must warn you when you’re ready she will ask you to do the work / engage in the treatment process and use the tools she may provide. I’ve found working with her support to have been eye opening and those sessions are leading me in the direction my goal to live a positively and stable . My outlook on situations becoming clearer. I’m a thankful person .

my session with Alva Pope today was excellent it’s always good but i’d had a bad day yesterday and during our session i felt comfortable with sharing and she helped dissect and walk me through my feelings for understanding and resolution i am looking forwarding an exploring more in future sessions I’ve not been seeing her long but she’s already gained insight into who i am and helps me see things from another perspective
