I appreciated how thorough Dr Alyssa Nash-Goelitz was. I have had a male Dermatologist do a skin cancer check in New York City, and he was nowhere near as thorough as Dr Alyssa. She patiently answered my questions, used a special Show morelight and got up close to all different parts of my body, then suggested a course of action for some abnormal cells on my forehead. And the course of action included being able to schedule them being burned off in my own time that is convenient to me. 100% would recommend!
Everyone was very nice, helpful, and professional. However, I was not given prior instructions on accessing the portal and I wasn't able to log into the portal and view my visit summary and had to call the office to get assistanceShow more. Also, on my Plan of Treatment on the portal, it states that "It was explained to the patient in great detail that the risks of using topical steroids include atrophy, striae, telangiectasias, addisonian crisis, hyperglycemia, and hypertension." That is not the case. That was not explained to me.

Dr. Nash graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the AOA Honor Medical Society. After receiving her medical doctorate, she completed her residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Following residency, Dr. Nash served as Associate Professor of Dermatology at St. Louis University School of Medicine before relocating to San Diego with her family. Another Blu light treatment that went as advertised. I was comforted by Dr. Nash’s concern when she learned that I was going to a Padre game immediately afterward. She took extra time to warn me about protecting my head, and was not convinced that I was taking it all in until I promised her that I was absolutely respecting what she was saying. She was great.
