Alyssa Schofield, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Yorktown Health in Lombard, Illinois. Her mission is to provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care to every patient, and she is excited to do so as part of the Yorktown Health community.
Alyssa attended Boston College, where she studied biology and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University before working as an ICU nurse for many years. Alyssa earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University, as well as in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She had clinical rotations in adult and pediatric primary care, women's health, family medicine, and community health.
When Alyssa is not in the office, she enjoys yoga, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
