Ambyr earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. After graduating, she worked as a registered nurse in critical care at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Ambyr moved to Colorado in 2018 and worked in respiratory care at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver before returning to school for her master’s degree. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated as a family nurse practitioner.
