PA Worden was very nice and explained the treatment plan and epidural procedure well. Front desk staff that was not helpful when I told them I could not sit and needed a place to place complete the intake forms. I found a smallShow more counter in a hallway but it was so akward I fell down. Someone eventually found a small room where I could lie down. There was also a lot of confusion between Alta and Pueblo Radiology re Pueblo’s need to review the spinal X-rays your off ice took. After many phone calls your office agreed to provide my X-rays husband for $10.00 but would not provide the X-rays directly to Pueblo. We brought the CD w/ X-rays to the Pueblo epidural appointment but they said it was too late and couldn’t use them. The epidural went fine but the radiologist only injected one area— not two areas as you directed. He relied ONLY on the MRI and refused to view or keep the X-ray CD from your office that we brought with us

Amit Nathani, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Alta Orthopedics with fellowship training in both sports medicine and shoulder surgery. I really like Dr. Nathani. He listened to my concerns, is practical and cares about how I’m feeling. I did have some issues with information given to people over the phone not getting relayed to the doctor or put in my chart which was frustrating, although they were nice when I talked to them on the phone. I had to talk to 3 people at 3 different times to get my information in my chart.

I am very happy that Alta Orthopedics has a presence in Santa Maria, the largest city in Santa Barbara County. Dr. Nathani was very knowledgeable on the subject of knee injections for osteoarthritis. This included cortisone, platelet rich plasma, hyaluronic acid, and stem cell shots. He was perfect in the actual administration of my hyaluronic acid injections. They were painless!!

Dr. Nathani is amazing!!! I highly recommend him to everyone I know. Being a former college football and having had 11 orthopedic surgeries due to various injuries on my body I can say he is the best I've had and I've had many good surgeons throughout.
