Amit Nathani, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Alta Orthopedics with fellowship training in both sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He sees patients in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, Solvang, and Oxnard California. Dr. Nathani is accepting new patients. Dr. Nathani was fellowship-trained at Stanford University, where he served as a team physician for the NFL's San Francisco 49ers.
Dr. Nathani specializes in injuries affecting the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, as well as general orthopedics and fracture care. He performs minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy) and open surgery, including joint replacement of the shoulder. Dr. Nathani is a former Division I Tennis player and continues to enjoy golf and tennis recreationally. He currently lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Isabella, three children, and two rescue dogs.

Victoria is awesome she really listens gives you great feedback and if you can't make it to a simple test x-ray MRI etc she's willing to do over the phone appointments which is great I highly recommend Victoria!!

Excellent doctor gives his patients all his attention and he cares because he gives the patient options of surgery which will suit the patient best. He doesn’t dismiss the patients concerns regarding their pain. The staff is courteous and polite and they don’t make you wait a very long time before calling you back to see the doctor and the doctor comes in right away too. I would recommend this office and this doctor to anyone who needs an orthopedic doctor.just ask me.
I love that everyone is nice starting from receptionist, assistant and doctor ,they are compassionate to me as I have some good days, but mostly bad days but know that when I go theyre for lil bit I feel someone cares and will get me through things and theyll get help for my injurys ¹soon
