Amy Disla, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC?
If you’re carrying pain that no one sees, feeling overwhelmed by stress, or pushing through each day while trying to keep yourself together, you’re in the right place. Many people come to me when they feel exhausted, stuck, or unsure how to break free from old patterns that continue to hurt them. Whether you’re trying to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or the long-lasting effects of emotional or physical abuse, I’m here to help you feel steady again. You deserve care, understanding, and a place where you can safely rebuild your strength.
I specialize in supporting teens and adults who are facing:
• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma and PTSD
• Bipolar disorder and cyclothymic disorder
• Autism and neurodevelopmental disorders
• Disordered eating including binge eating and emotional eating
• Women’s mental health including pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns
• Stress, burnout, and major life transitions
• Domestic violence, emotional abuse, narcissistic relationships
• OCD, insomnia, chronic fatigue, and mood instability
• Grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, codependency, and infidelity
Many of my clients come to me feeling alone in their symptoms, overwhelmed by fear, battling self doubt, or unable to break free from toxic patterns. Together we work toward emotional clarity, deeper confidence, and healthier coping skills.
I speak directly, honestly, and with compassion. I am calm, steady, and clear, and I never rush you or talk down to you. My goal is to help you feel seen and understood while giving you the structure and guidance you need to move forward. I will always treat you with respect, care, and patience.
My years in the emergency room showed me the deepest levels of human pain. I saw people who were hurting, scared, overwhelmed, and unseen. It opened my eyes to how much people need safe, long term mental health support. That experience is the foundation of my work today. I became a psychiatric provider to offer the care people deserve long after the crisis ends.
Our first session is focused on comfort, clarity, and connection. We talk about what brought you in, what feels hardest right now, and what you want your life to look like. If needed, I complete a simple evaluation or screening. You leave with direction, a plan, and a sense of partnership in your healing.
