Dr. Andrea H. Friedberg is a key member of the team at Friedberg Eye Associates. She is currently treating patients in Woodbury, New Jersey, and surrounding cities.
Dr. Friedberg earned her Doctorate of Medicine with high honors and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society from Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Friedberg then completed a medical/surgical internship in the Emory University System obtaining a comprehensive knowledge and experience treating children and adults in private hospitals, trauma hospitals, and VA hospitals. Dr. Friedberg completed her ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute, including training at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital.
Dr. Friedberg constantly works to stay up-to-date on all of the new techniques and treatments in ophthalmology/optometry. Throughout her career, she has taken many courses to supplement her knowledge and experience. She has received many Top Doc awards, and has been involved in resident and medical student education. Dr. Friedberg has extensive experience in dry eye treatments, eye and facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery including small lesion removals, nutritional support, cataract diagnosis and surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and surgery including the IStent and many types of laser treatments.
