At her practice, Dr. Olanescu tailors her approach and her medical services to each woman’s specific needs.
After earning her MD at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, Dr. Olanescu broadened her expertise through an internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and an OB/GYN residency at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. Today, she is a fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine and of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Olanescu is deeply committed to serving the multicultural and multiethnic community of Queens, New York. She is a board-certified OB/GYN with physician affiliations at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital, and Flushing Hospital.

I had a 11am appointment. I waited for over an hour to see me. But that is not what disappointed me. It was the fact that people who had appointments after me (and also came after me) that were seen before me.

The dr was very good very polite BUT I have a complain in regards from desk team. This lady try to charge for the visit even though I explained to her that my insurance cover it she insisted that I have to paid I asked her to check again she said that I have 3 ways to pay cash card or Zelle she didn’t want to hear me. I have to called my insurance and ask the representative to explain to her over the phone still she was not happy I guess she left another team member came and spoke with the lady from my insurance and I heard she said “may be was a misunderstanding they didn’t try to charge no one” I was very upset because she was lying in my face. I think they didn’t like I called and make respect my rights. I just wondered to how many people they doing this make them pay when they don’t have to.
