After earning her MD at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, Dr. Olanescu broadened her expertise through an internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and an OB/GYN residency at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. Today, she is a fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine and of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Olanescu is deeply committed to serving the multicultural and multiethnic community of Queens, New York. She is a board-certified OB/GYN with physician affiliations at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital, and Flushing Hospital.

The staff is great, but the scheduling system needs improvement. The staff were kind and professional, which I genuinely appreciated. However, the overall appointment took over two hours, which was extremely frustrating. It was clear that the office was understaffed for the number of patients booked at the same time. Overbooking appointments makes the entire process inefficient for everyone involved—patients, providers, and staff. To improve the experience, the office should limit the number of appointments scheduled at once so that patients can be seen promptly and complete everything within a reasonable timeframe.

I read some mixed reviews and was hesitant about my appointment. To my surprise the physician I saw was super nice, informative, and they were on time. Some of the front desk staff was rude, which I don’t understand why. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, was due to the front desk staff and having to go somewhere else to get blood drawn.
