I don't usually like women doctors. They're cranky and get annoyed if you ask questions. Not true with Dr. Phelps. She and her staff are caring and eager to help. ??

I was born in Cuba and have a Siamese twin sister who is also a medical physician. I trained in Belize at St. Matthew’s School of Medicine and also in Manchester, England. I graduated from UAB Family Residency program in 2006. I have been practicing in Florida for 13 years as an emergency room physician. I am board certified in family medicine with multiple accreditation's such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NALS, and ATLS. I believe continuing medical education should be done constantly to stay up to date with all new research.
