Anisa Ruiz

Anisa Ruiz, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Associate with a diverse clinical background spanning family medicine, pediatric emergency care, and aesthetic medicine. She began her career in family medicine in 2019, providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education. From 2023 to 2025, Anisa worked at Christus Pediatric Emergency Department, where she developed advanced skills in acute care, rapid assessment, and compassionate treatment of children and adolescents. In 2023, she also expanded her practice into aesthetic medicine as a Physician Associate injector at The Skin Elite, combining clinical precision with an artistic eye to help patients look and feel their best. Her skill sets include optimizing: full face rejuvenation, collagen banking, facial balancing, lip augmentation, jawline contouring, and wrinkle prevention.

Anisa’s journey in medicine is a manifestation of God’s calling to blend healthcare, encouragement, and coaching into the realm of wellness. She consistently upholds the highest standards of care, ensuring every patient receives exceptional treatment, compassion, and peace of mind. Anisa graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and remains committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence.

Outside of medicine, Anisa hosts a Podcast Private in Public, grows her relationship with Jesus, and enjoys traveling, salsa dancing, playing soccer and volleyball, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
