Anjali Shahi, MD

Dr. Shahi is a psychiatric resident with Broward Health, passionate about destigmatization and increasing awareness of mental health. She attended University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she received her Bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She completed her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and her clinical rotations in Washington DC, Maryland, South Florida, and Chicago. Prior to residency, she worked as a research coordinator on trials for various psychotropic medications. Dr. Shahi’s goals involve highlighting the importance of cultural awareness in providing high quality psychiatric care, addressing health care disparities, exploring novel approaches to psychiatric treatments and improving the accessibility of resources.
