Dr cozzolino was wonderful. Tip for front desk. Don't let a new patient stand at the window without being acknowledged for 10+ minutes while on the phone. Put the call on hold for a moment, take the new patient info and give theShow morem the registration packet, then continue the call. That way the appointment isn't set back 10+ minutes. The front desk staff was extremely sweet - just a tip that might help office hours not run behind!
I have been going to Dr. Cozzolino for a number of years and I trust him 100% and he has helped me through the most difficult foot injuries and traumas that I have dealt with. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the locatiShow moreon is perfect for me. Highly recommend it for any type of foot service but especially if you are have type one diabetes, or if you are newly diagnosed type two.
Anthony Cozzolino, DPM, has been a practicing podiatrist for about 25 years. He currently sees patients at Kaplansky Foot and Ankle Centers in Columbus and Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
A graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, Dr. Cozzolino attended medical school at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx in New York City, where he was named chief resident during his second and final year. Dr. Cozzolino has had exposure to multiple modalities, and thanks to his residency at Saint Barnabas hospital, he has been able to assist in spinal surgeries and other various orthopedic operations not ordinarily involved in a standard podiatric residency.
After completing his residency, Dr. Cozzolino earned board certification in foot surgery and joined the Central Long Island Podiatry Group (now known as the Long Island Podiatry Group), one of the premier podiatric offices on Long Island. He remained there until 2004. He relocated to Ohio to be closer to family and has been practicing as a sole proprietor at Kaplansky Foot and Ankle Centers since 2006.
Dr. Cozzolino specializes in reconstructive foot surgery, advanced wound care and limb salvage, and soft tissue procedures of the rear foot and ankle. His passion to heal patients with complex wound complications has lead him on his journey to becoming a well-renowned expert in the field, providing care at hospital wound care and hyperbaric oxygen centers in Columbus, Ohio.
Active in the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association, Dr. Cozzolino has made it a personal goal to advance the profession’s ability to provide quality foot and ankle care statewide. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and tinkering with his restored cars.

Dr. Cozzolino is great. He is very personable and knows every aspect of the foot. He does a great job explaining the problem with the foot through X-rays, pictures of the foot, and my actual foot. After my surgery, he explained the procedure using the previously mentioned methods. I have been to the Reynoldsburg and Columbus locations. The staff is also great! I would highly recommend this practice.
I have been with Dr. Cozzolino for the past several years. Appointments are on time, he offers suggestions and addresses any and all concerns I have right there. The staff is friendly and considerate as well and do everything they can to make the visit comfortable. I appreciate all their attention to details and recommendations to follow between visits.
