I was very impressed with Dr. Marati. I felt like he assessed my symptoms and requested we do a few more things to confirm what his thoughts are, especially about my carotid arteries. I am concerned and I do have a lot of heart isShow moresues. This was something new that I had never dealt with before I appreciated his time and his interest looking forward to following up with his nurse practitioner in three months and getting some answers when I get a few things to him before then, thanks, Marsha Hinsch.

Antipas Marati, DO earned an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and went on to receive his medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, VA.
Inspired by his mother’s impact as a physician in India, he pursued a career in medicine with a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Drawn to neurology for its intellectual challenge and the enduring art of clinical medicine, Dr. Marati finds the field both fascinating and rewarding. He enjoys treating the full spectrum of neurological conditions and is passionate about education, valuing the opportunity to teach and mentor future physicians.
Dr. Marati chose to join DCND because of its strong culture of collaboration and the privilege of working alongside residents and dedicated attendings. Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading high fantasy and sci-fi novels, playing board and video games, exploring new restaurants, and watching movies or binge-worthy shows.

There are so many interesting things in neurology and it is the combination of what I find intellectually stimulating paired with a field where the "art" of medicine is still very much alive that appeals to me.
