After receiving her medical degree from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in Porur, Chennai, India, Dr. Swami completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
From there, she finished fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts. After working in a multi-specialty group practice and as a clinical transplant endocrinologist at Tampa General Hospital in Florida, Dr. Swami started her own practice.

I tried to get a question answered in the portal but to no avail! Ibwent into the appointment not knowing what we would discuss since I didn’t know who was going to place the order for my blood work, my PCP or Dr. Swami since this was follow up appointment and she didn’t answer my question before hand. Dr. swami did address not answering in the portal stating that she was unsure what was needed but it all worked out in the end!!!!
Dr Swami is a very good doctor. Kind caring and has always helped with all of my issues concerning my diabetes and the meds that have helped lower my A1C. Staff is friendly and appts always on time.

In the past, I’ve left first appointments feeling unheard or rushed, but this was completely different.
