Dr. Arpan Satsangi, MD, PhD

Arpan Satsangi, MD, PhD, is a board-certified urologist proudly serving patients at Mission City Urology in San Antonio, Texas. 

Born and raised in the city, Dr. Satsangi completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering through a joint program at the University of Texas at San Antonio and UT Health Science Center. He went on to earn his medical degree, complete his general surgery internship, and finish his urology residency — all at UT Health San Antonio.

With a deep-rooted commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him, Dr. Satsangi takes a personalized and compassionate approach to urologic care. Having been both a patient and caregiver himself, he understands how overwhelming the medical journey can feel. He believes in treating every patient as he would a family member—making sure they feel informed, heard, and empowered throughout their treatment. His care philosophy centers on shared decision-making and patient education, guiding each individual with the most current medical knowledge available.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Satsangi is an avid learner with a passion for scientific research. He has received numerous awards for his work and continues to pursue research in his free time. He's also a devoted animal lover who enjoys spending time with his pet dog and bird.
