Dr. Arthur Johnson

Arthur J. Johnson, DDS, is an experienced and passionate dentist at Woodland Elite Dental Partners in The Woodlands, Texas. He specializes in oral surgery and general dentistry and treats patients of all ages.

Dr. Johnson earned a dual Bachelor of Science in political science and environmental engineering from the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, where he was a member of the Dean’s List. After graduating, he served in the United States Army for eight years and received the Army Commendation Medal twice for outstanding service and performance.

While in the military, Dr. Johnson worked as a platoon leader, company maintenance officer, fire support officer, and civil affairs officer. The Army took him across the world, including Germany, Korea, and Iraq. He also completed several international volunteer missions in Salvador, Brazil, and Matamoros, Mexico, before returning to the United States for dental school.

Dr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry (now the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center) in Dallas, Texas. While there, he was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Dental Student Leadership Scholarship.

Since graduating, Dr. Johnson has gained experience working in private practice and has participated in advanced education courses, including the Pediatric Game Changer Course from the Institute for Pediatric Dentistry in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Harvard Law School Executive Negotiation and Leadership Program in Boston, and the Q-Implant Marathon in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Dr. Johnson is proud to bring his experience working in cross-cultural environments, international relief agencies, and foreign embassies to his practice at Woodlands Elite Dental Partners. He takes a compassionate approach to dentistry and works with each patient to ensure they feel comfortable and well cared for, no matter their dental needs.
