About Dr. Ashlee O'Shell, MD

Ashlee O'Shell, MD, is a compassionate OB/GYN and has been a valued member of Associated Obstetrics and Gynecology since September 2020. The practice is located in Bloomfield Hills and Clarkston, Michigan.

Born and raised in Walled Lake, Michigan, she has deep roots in the local community. Dr. O'Shell earned her bachelor's degree in human biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing before obtaining her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

Dr. O'Shell feels privileged to offer comprehensive care to women, spanning from routine to high-risk pregnancies and addressing a broad spectrum of gynecological concerns. Her areas of expertise include postpartum depression, abnormal uterine bleeding, birth control counseling, hormone replacement therapy, and more.

She is proficient in minimally invasive gynecologic, pelvic, and robotic surgery and holds certification in da Vinci robotic surgery. Dr. O'Shell values the opportunity to accompany her patients through every stage of life—from adolescence and pregnancy to mid-life and menopause.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. O'Shell finds joy in her family life. She is happily married to Chad, and they eagerly anticipate the arrival of their son in June 2021. They also share their home with a beloved boxer named "Chip," who adds plenty of excitement to their lives.
