My first visit with Dr Gurigis. I feel he really has terrific experience. Even more he explained in layman's terms what was going on with my body & what the many options are. He also sits on a stool and looked me in the eyes and sShow morehared a compassionate aura beyond just a good 'beside' manner. I think Emerge is having some growing pains in office communications but is slowly improving.

Great Physician. Very compassionate and explains everything.
Dr. Guirgues was kind, direct and to the point. He gave me options for my issues and showed me the results of my testing. He explained them to me so I can understand them clearly. I feel confident knowing he has my best interest at heart.
Great doctor that cares about his patients well being!
If you want to be talked to like a child in trouble then by all means this Dr is for you. I did not like the way he spoke to me and needs some bed side manners training. The way he explained my MRI went completely over my head and he spoke too fast. Good thing there is chat GPT that can break down the notes better than he did to where I understood what it meant. He literally handed me the MRI notes and seemed to act like I could read them within seconds of handing them to me. All other providers at EmergOrtho that I have seen have been way better in their explanations and have had better bed side manners.

Waited for an hour to see him. Finally came in and was in my room for maybe 5-7 minutes. He talked fast, was in a rush, handed me MRI images and didn't explain what they were showing. The images that were chosen to give me didn't show at all what the images he showed on the computer which were completely different and showed much more. He didn't even realize what the real issue of why I was being seen and was confused. The original issue is my back. But after the the original mri, they saw something in my neck but was blurry so they did an mri of my neck. I figured that my neck issue they saw could be the reason of my extreme back pain. Im not even having issues with my neck at the moment. He was confused and thought I was there for my neck. I left there with no answers and still no help regarding my back pain. I felt rushed and left with no answers except to quit smoking and go to PT. ..for my neck..smh.
Dr G is very straightforward and hugely helpful. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Gurguies is very professional,knowledgeable and takes his time with you explaining all aspects of care and thoroughly answers all questions in the way I could understand them.
Dr Ashraf, is a very knowledgeable physician. He told me the unvarnished truth about my condition, and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. He also explained to me how treatment for my back was also affected by my other health issues. He also encouraged me to keep up with physical therapy and exercise, along with alternatives to pain meds. I would recommend him to anyone.
He was on the mark. He listened and saw to it all necessary test were done, explained everything and did referral where needed. Can’t thank him enough.

The doctor was great at explaining my problem and giving me the options of what I might want to do up to me. Really good exam and information.
